The Cross Timbers Gazette will sponsor a Lewisville ISD Board of Trustees Candidate Forum on Wednesday, April 16, at 7 p.m. at Flower Mound Town Hall, 2121 Cross Timbers Rd.
Longtime Flower Mound resident and newspaper columnist Bob Weir will moderate the forum.
The forum is open to the public and will be recorded and rebroadcast on FMTV through the election season. It will also be available for on-demand viewing online.
Kristi Hassett, Mary Smith and Krista Stone are running for the open Place 6 seat.
Tracy Scott Miller is challenging longtime trustee Carol Kyer in Place 7.
The public is invited to submit questions for the candidates to [email protected]. Proposed questions should be worded in a general way so all candidates can respond to them.
The deadline to email questions in advance is 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15.
There will also be an opportunity for members of the audience to submit questions at the forum.
Early voting for the May 10 election begins on April 28.
