Flower Mound lands regional headquarters

Audio/visual firm Whitlock recently announced plans to relocate its regional headquarters from Irving to Flower Mound.

Known for innovative audiovisual solutions such as Victory Park outside the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Whitlock plans to bring 120 jobs with a $55,000 average annual salary to its new location.

“With an impressive client list that includes numerous global corporations, major universities, and government organizations, we are proud Whitlock chose the Lakeside Business District for its regional headquarters,” said Flower Mound Mayor Tom Hayden.

“We’re very excited about adding 120 new jobs to our employment base and I have no doubt this will be a winning combination for both Whitlock and Flower Mound.”

Richmond, Va.- based Whitlock recently signed a 10-year lease for a 40,000-square foot space within the Lakeside Ridge development, located at the southwest corner of Lakeside Parkway and Gerault Road.

The building is currently under construction through developer Crow Holdings. Whitlock officials will move into the new space in November.

“Whitlock is experiencing tremendous growth due to its timeless approach of putting customers first, and we’re thrilled the Lakeside Business District provided the right opportunity for their continued success,” said Flower Mound Economic Development Director Mark Wood. “We wish them nothing but the best and look forward to welcoming them to the Town in November.”

The Lakeside Business District is a 1,500-acre, master-planned area within Flower Mound, located just three miles north of DFW International Airport. The Town invested more than $25 million in road, water, and wastewater infrastructure improvements in the district. For more information about Whitlock, please visit www.whitlock.com.
