The Argyle football team advanced to the regional quarterfinals on Friday night with a 55-27 victory over Melissa in Prosper.
Nick Ralston rushed for 365 yards and five touchdowns in the game for the Eagles, and Cole Hedlund kicked field goals of 26 and 31 yards.
Hunter Treadwell also scored for Argyle on a 75-yard punt return, and Ian Sadler scored on an 11-yard run and rushed for 125 yards in the game.
Argyle (12-0) will square off with Gilmer (11-1) in the next round of the playoffs Friday night at 6 p.m. at Kincaide Stadium in Dallas.
