Letter: Cox has passion for the community

I met Angie Cox shortly after we moved to High Road in Flower Mound.  Angie is a neighbor who made us feel welcome.  Little did I know how often I would continue to bump into Angie and how apparently boundless her energy level is.

Whether it’s her time serving on the Parks, Arts, & Library Board, the Friends of the Library, leading the Women of Flower Mound or her longstanding membership in the Lewisville Noon Rotary club and her active participation in the Chamber of Commerce, her commitment to the community is unparalleled.  She accomplished this while also being an involved parent, professional business woman, and small business owner.

Everyone who knows Angie can attest to her strong, consistent, conservative values.  She is a frequent attendee at the Flower Mound Area Republican Club and has served as a precinct chair.  It is these values that are the foundation to her no nonsense approach to resolving issues.  Angie can be direct without being confrontational.  Angie expects a lot from herself and she has the same expectations for others.

Most importantly for me is that Angie listens and asks questions. She will ask tough, important questions like, where will the money come from? and how will the results be measured?

Angie like the other candidates has a passion for the community.  What sets Angie apart is her long proven history service and delivering what she says across multiple groups.  Her broad based perspective coupled with passion and boundless energy that makes Angie the best choice for LISD Board of Trustees, Place 3.

Early voting begins on October 21st and Election Day is November 5th.  Make your vote count for all LISD students, vote for Angie Cox.
