04-22-2013 7:12 p.m. – Traffic Complaint – 100 blk. Trailing Oaks Dr., Double Oak – Juveniles riding an off-road vehicle in the street. Parents were contacted.
04-22-2013 8:55 p.m. – Motorist Assist – Porter St., Bartonville – Assisted Bartonville PD with investigation into a minor traffic accident.

04-26-2013 1:44 p.m. – Noise Complaint – 100 blk. High Oak, Double Oak – Report of a neighborhood band that sometimes plays too loudly.
04-26-2013 1:07 p.m. – Suspicious Circumstances – 200 blk. Whistling Duck, Double Oak – Resident returned home and found large sandy footprints from their backdoor into a living area. Officers cleared the house and conducted a walk through with the homeowner. No items were missing. It is unknown who left the footprints.
04-27-2013 10:12 a.m. – Traffic Complaint – 100blk. Highview, Double Oak – Complaint regarding a lawn care company truck speeding through the neighborhood.
04-27-2013 6:41 p.m. – Traffic Complaint – 8100 blk. FM 407, Denton County – Report of a “road rage” driver in the vicinity of Sonic.
04-28-2013 4:00 p.m. – Traffic Accident – Lantana Trail and FM 407, Lantana – Bartonville and Double Oak investigated motor vehicle collision.
04-29-2013 3:37 p.m. – Traffic Accident – 100 blk. McMakin, Flower Mound – Officer responded to a traffic accident.
04-29-2013 8:41 p.m. – Traffic Complaint – 200 blk. Cross Timbers Dr., Double Oak – Report of a motorcyclist racing up and down the road.
04-30-2013 9:42 p.m. – Minor Disturbance – 200 blk. Simmons Rd., Double Oak – Verbal altercation between landlord and disgruntled tenant who had been asked to move off the property. Officers remained on scene until the tenant departed.
05-01-2013 11:58 p.m. – Traffic Accident – 300 Kings Rd., Double Oak – Motorist drove his vehicle off the road and crashed into a homeowner’s backyard.
05-02-2013 5:13 p.m. – Traffic Accident – FM407 / 1830 Denton County – Major accident in unincorporated area of the county worked by Argyle, Bartonville and Double Oak police officers with medical treatment provided by Argyle Fire District personnel.

05-03-2013 5:55 a.m. – Suspicious Person – 100 blk. Lake Trail Dr., Double Oak – A resident reported an unknown male walking through their neighborhood early in the morning.
05-04-2013 10:39 a.m. – Traffic Accident – Hwy 377, Argyle – Assisted Argyle PD with traffic control during an accident investigation.
05-05-2013 2:50 a.m. – Traffic Stop – Hwy 377 Argyle – Assisted Argyle PD with traffic stop investigation as to why a motorist was driving a vehicle with an open container of alcohol. A citation was issued.
05-07-2013 4:20 p.m. – Traffic Accident – 7700 blk. Justin Rd., Denton Cnty. – Multiple agencies responded to major accident at “T” intersection on Bartonville, Argyle border.
05-08-2013 9:02 a.m. – Criminal Mischief – 100 blk. Forest Oaks, Double Oak – Unknown person shot through a master bedroom window with a pellet gun.
05-08-2013 3:08 a.m. – Agency Assist – 300 blk. Frenchtown Rd., Argyle – Assisted Argyle PD with an arrest from a traffic stop.
05-12-2013 2:39 a.m. – Suspicious Circumstances – 9000 blk. Cypress Creek Rd., Lantana – Double Oak and Argyle Police units responded to a medical call with suspicious circumstances. Officers secured the location for arrival of fire department.
05-12-2013 9:56 p.m. – Family Violence Assault Arrest – 7700 blk. Justin Rd., Double Oak – Hickory Creek Police broadcast the description of a suspect and his vehicle that had been involved in a family violence assault. Double Oak Officer located the suspect on Justin Rd., conducted a traffic stop and detained arrestee until arrival of Hickory Creek officers.
05-18-2013 5:26 p.m. – Found Property – 200 blk. Double Oaks Dr., Double Oak – Homeowner found an arrow shot into his backyard by an unknown person.
05-19-2013 8:28 a.m. – Suspicious Circumstances – 200 blk. Timberview, Double Oak – A resident reported an unknown motorist parked in their yard and sleeping. Officer made contact with the subject who explained he was waiting one block away from his girlfriend’s home. Subject agreed to move from the location.
05-19-2013 11:21 p.m. – Assault – 6100 blk. Plantation Ln., Double Oak – Caller reported that a family member had assaulted her through choking. Adult male was taken into custody and transported to Denton County jail.
05-20-2013 1:30 p.m. – Theft – 600 blk. Simmons Rd., Double Oak – Unknown person or persons stole lawn care equipment from front yard of residence.
05-23-2013 8:44 a.m. – Evading Detention – F.M. 377, Argyle – Suspect fled on foot from and Argyle Police Officer who was conducting a traffic stop. Officers were unable to locate the subject.
05-24-2013 6:20 p.m. – Traffic Complaint – Lake Trail, Double Oak – A resident reported a Jeep driving through the neighborhood with multiple passengers standing in the back while the vehicle was moving. Caller thought their behavior was dangerous.
05-24-2013 6:21 p.m. – Criminal Mischief – 100 blk. N. Woodland Trail, Double Oak – It was reported than an unknown person broke the glass out of a garage door window. A significant amount of blood was left at the scene.
05-25-2013 3:53 p.m. – Traffic Accident – 2600 blk. F.M. 407, Bartonville – Assisted Bartonville Police with traffic control.
05-25-2013 9:19 a.m. – Evading Detention – 12600 blk. Cross Timbers, Flower Mound – Double Oak Unit responded at the request of North Lake Police when they had a violator who refused to stop.

05-26-2013 10:47 p.m. – Traffic Violation – 100 blk. Fox Trot Ln., Double Oak – Complaint about juveniles operating a golf cart on a public street.
05-26-2013 10:58 p.m. – Juvenile Complaint – 200 blk. Timberleaf Dr., Double Oak – Dispute about juveniles on private property. Caller wanted to resolve with parents of the involved children.
05-28 -2013 12:25 p.m. – Traffic Violation – 200 blk. Simmons Rd., Double Oak – A resident reported a black four door car speeding down the street.
05-28-2013 3:56 p.m. – Traffic Accident – 7800 blk. F.M. 407, Double Oak – Two vehicle accident with minor disturbance between motorists and a witness.
05-28-2013 5:37 p.m. – Assist Fire Department – 500 blk. Cross Timbers Dr., Double Oak – Officers responded to a call regarding a juvenile having problems breathing. Child was okay upon arrival and was assessed by Argyle and Double Oak fire department personnel.
05-28-2013 5:42 p.m. – Suspicious Circumstances – 200 blk. Forest Ln., Double Oak – A resident found it strange when she was walking and was asked by an unknown male if she knew of any vehicles for sale. Resident grew more concerned when the car returned to the neighborhood.
05-29-2013 11:44 p.m. – Assist Fire Department – 9300 blk. Blanco Dr., Lantana – Assisted with traffic control at the scene of a house fire being fought by multiple agencies.
05-29-2013 5:24 p.m. – Loud Music – 100 blk. High Oak Dr., Double Oak – Complaint received regarding live music being played at a residence.
05-31-2013 7:27 p.m. – Open Building – 11500 blk. Lantana Trl., Lantana – Assisted Denton County Sheriff’s Deputy with searching an unsecure building.
05-31-2013 7:55 a.m. – Traffic Accident – 300 blk. Waketon, Double Oak – Minor two car collision with no injuries.
05-31-2013 7:35 p.m. – Solicitor Complaint / Arrest – 300 blk. East Carruth Ln., Double Oak – Officers responded to a complaint about an adult male going door to door soliciting without a permit. While citing the individual for soliciting without a permit it was determined that he was wanted in Collin County for Fraud. Maceio Franklin, M/39 years old, was placed under arrest and transported to Denton County Jail.
06-01-2013 8:33 p.m. – Traffic Accident – 500 blk. Waketon Rd., Double Oak – Collision between two motorists. No injuries reported.
06-02-2013 10:05 p.m. – Burglary In Progress – 1200 blk. Jasmine St., Lantana – Double Oak responded with Sheriff’s Deputy to reports of an adult male trying to enter the front door of a residence. Upon further investigation it was determined that the male was intoxicated and lived at a nearby residence.
06-08-2013 1:20 a.m. – Loud Party – 1400 blk. Meadows Ave., Lantana – Double Oak Officer dispatched with Sheriff’s Deputy to a loud party.
06-09-2013 1:06 p.m. – Criminal Trespass – 700 blk. Simmons Rd., Double Oak – A resident reported that heavy trucks were traveling over and parked on their property during construction of the neighbor’s swimming pool.
06-10-2013 4:54 p.m. – Telephone Harassment – 300 blk. Waketon Rd., Double Oak – A resident reported a harassing telephone call from a known person.
06-10-2013 7:37 p.m. – Traffic Accident – 6900 blk. F.M. 407, Bartonville – Double Oak Officer assisted with traffic control.
06-11-2013 7:28 a.m. – Parking Violation – 300 blk. Kings Rd., Double Oak – A resident reported a car parked in the roadway. Upon further investigation multiple motorists were asked to move their vehicles off the road.
06-11-2013 10:20 p.m. – 100 blk. High Oaks Dr., Double Oak – An anonymous resident reported an underage drinking party. Officers made contact with several people under the age of twenty-one and issued four citations for underage drinking and seized a small amount of marijuana.
06-13-2013 7:23 a.m. – 100 blk. N. Forest Ln., Double Oak – An unknown person destroyed a residential mail box.
06-13-2013 10:09 p.m. – Animal Complaint – 300 blk. Cross Timbers Dr., Double Oak – A person reported that while walking their dog through town an unsecure dog attached his canine. The dog required veterinary treatment.
06-14-2013 8:27 a.m. – Disturbance – 8800 blk. Bluestem Dr., Lantana – A Lantana resident was involved in a dispute with a contractor building a nearby house.
06-14-2013 11:54 a.m. – Gas Leak – 200 blk. Timberleaf Dr., Double Oak – A cable company crew inadvertently nicked a natural gas line while digging a trench for cable. Fire Department responded and assumed command.
06-14-2013 1:45 p.m. – Impersonating A Public Servant – 400 blk. Oak Trail Dr., Double Oak – An unknown person called the complainant claiming to be a member of the Drug Enforcement Administration and demanding thousands in cash. The attempted fraud has been reported to the D.E.A. and more information is available on their webpage.
06-17-2013 5:34 p.m. – Solicitor Complaint – 100 blk. Simmons, Double Oak – Call about an unknown male going door to door claiming to sell window treatments. Officer was unable to locate the alleged vendor.
06-19-2013 9:11 a.m. – Ordinance Violation – 200 blk. Simmons, Double Oak – Double Oak Police assisted Public Works with an ordinance violation call.
06-20-2013 7:51 p.m. – Ordinance Violation – 100 blk. Oak Grove Cir., Double Oak – A resident reported juveniles using fireworks around a pond.
