The Marcus girls basketball team cruised to a 64-51 victory against Irving MacArthur in its opening round playoff game on Tuesday night, and made it two in a row this evening by downing Killeen Ellison 47-35 in the area round.
Vanessa Jones led the Lady Marauders in scoring with 13 points, while Sierra Bone and Morgan Easley added eight points a piece.
Jenna Davis, Alex Lapeyrolerie, Taylor Roof and Ashley James combined for 18 points in the game.
The Lady Marauders will take on the winner of the Lewisville/Timberview game on a time and date to be determined in the regional quarterfinals.
