Argyle girls dominate in playoff win

Argyle won its bi-district round game against Sanger 48-41 in the girls 3A state basketball tournament on Tuesday night, and followed it up with a 55-39 victory earlier this evening over Dallas Hutchins.

The Lady Eagles outscored Hutchins 33-8 through the second and third quarters to get the victory.

Allea Harris led Argyle in scoring with 22 points, while Delaney Sain scored 17 and Jesse Sheridan scored 10 points in the game.

Morgan McInaney, Olivia Gray and Bailey Eschle combined for six points.

The Lady Eagles improved to 28-6 on the season with the victory, and will take on Krum in the Regional Quarterfinals at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Texas Woman’s University.
