Jaxxon Warren, 8, of Flower Mound won the Punt, Pass & Kick championship held at Dallas Cowboys Stadium on Dec. 2 and is advancing to the National Finals this weekend.
Warren netted a punt of 87 feet and 7 inches, threw a pass for 77 feet and 1 inch, and his kick went 82 feet and 5 inches. His total score of 247 feet and 1 inch placed him second nationally in the 8-9 boys division.
He will compete in the finals on Jan. 13 during the Atlanta Falcons vs. Seattle Seahawks playoff game at the Georgia Dome.
Warren, a third grader at Bridlewood Elementary, plays U9 soccer with Solar Farley and basketball with the Fireballs.
He loves school and all sports, playing with his friends, and driving his dune buggy at his grandparent’s ranch.
This is his first experience with the NFL PPK competition.
