The 2012 Marcus High School Homecoming Queen and King, Katy Fernandes and Sam Karnes, were crowned Friday night at the Marcus football game vs. Plano East.
As part of the homecoming festivities, Marcus held their annual Homecoming Carnival Wednesday. This year’s theme was “Dr. Seuss.”
Following the carnival, the community joined students and staff at Marauder stadium to participate in a pep rally.
Team captains from each sport spoke on behalf of their teammates and encouraged the community to come out and support their events.
The crowd was treated to performances from the Marauder Band, cheerleaders, Marquettes and Stars.
