The petition drive which occurred throughout Lantana on Dec 11th was a success in that we are halfway to our goal. That goal being collecting enough signatures for petitioning the Denton County Commissioner’s Court to enforce the posted traffic regulations within Lantana.
However, if you have not yet signed we still need your help to finish the job. Between now and Jan 15th, volunteers will be going door-to-door throughout Lantana to ask your support in signing the petition. Copies of the petition are also available for you to sign at the Fresh Water Supply District offices located at Bartonville Town Center.
Be on the look-out for our volunteers and we appreciate your help with this important project. Successful completion of the petition drive will ensure that our posted traffic regulations are enforceable by the Denton County Sheriff’s office. Additional information here.
