Teachers and staff from Blanton Elementary School in Lantana collected more than $1,350 for the Denton County Animal Rescue Foundation as part of its “We Care Wednesdays” program.
The program keeps Denton ISD students and employees tied into the community by giving back, school officials said.
Blanton employees recently presented their donation to the animal shelter’s staff on the school’s campus.
