Flower Mound police are investigating a two vehicle fatality crash that occurred last Friday night on the west side of town.
Police said the accident happened at 9:52 p.m. in the 7500 block of Cross Timbers Rd. near High Rd. involving a 2011 Volvo and 2009 Chevrolet Suburban.
The preliminary investigation showed the Volvo was driving eastbound in the westbound lane of traffic and collided head-on with the Suburban.
The Volvo’s driver and only occupant, 46-year old Demetris Robinson of Keller, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Suburban’s driver, 70-year John Bailleu from Flower Mound was transported by CareFlite air ambulance to John Peter Smith Hospital with severe injuries.
His passenger, Jacqueline Bailleu, 70, was transported to John Peter Smith hospital by Flower Mound Fire Department ambulance with serious injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
