Double Oak Police Calls

Recent calls reported by the Double Oak Police Department:

March 14
7:31 a.m.  100 blk. W. Carruth – Abandoned Vehicle – Double Oak Police removed a vehicle that had been abandoned in Carruth Estates for 48hrs.

9:02 p.m.  300 blk. Redbud St., Argyle – Assist Agency – Double Oak Police dispatched to assist Argyle Police with a domestic disturbance.

March 15
5:36 p.m.  6000 blk. Kings Rd. – Minor Disturbance – Double Oak Police responded to a call regarding juveniles throwing rocks.  No damage was done to any property and the officer was unable to locate the suspects.

6:10 p.m.  7000 blk. Justin Rd., Copper Canyon – Assist Agency – Double Oak Police assisted Sheriff’s Department with an unconscious person who was later arrested.

March 16
5:07 p.m.  100 blk. S. Woodland Trl. – Welfare Concern – A citizen reported fluid being sprayed out of a garbage truck, when it compacted garbage, in front of his residence.

5:12 p.m.  100 blk. Timberleaf Dr. – Suspicious Person – A concerned citizen reported a suspicious person / vehicle parked on the side of the road.  Upon investigation it was determined by the officer that the driver was ill.

10:41 p.m.  600 blk. Waketon Rd. – Criminal Mischief – An unknown suspect threw a water balloon at the Complainant’s truck damaging a mirror.

March 17
8:02 a.m.  200 blk. Cross Timbers Dr. – Shots Fired – A concerned citizen reported possible shots fired in the vicinity of Whispering Oaks.  An officer responded to the location and was unable to locate the source of the noise.

10:00 a.m.  300 blk. Oakview Trl. – Arrest – An 18 year old female was arrested for Criminal Mischief, class A misdemeanor, for having destroyed over six hundred dollars worth of clothing belonging to another person.

12:41 p.m.  100 blk. Whistling Duck Ln. – Alarm – An officer responded to an alarm call in which it was determined that the house was secure and there was no evidence of criminal activity.

11:05 p.m.  100 blk. Eagles Peak Ln. – Panic Alarm – A resident accidentally activated their parent’s panic alarm.

March 18
1:42 p.m.  100 blk. Campbell Ct. – Ordinance Violation – An Officer spoke with a dump truck driver about possible illegal dumping on Campbell Ct.

10:34 a.m.  100 blk. Twin Lakes Dr. – Criminal Mischief – Unknown person or persons threw toilet paper in Complainant’s trees and put chocolate, ketchup and mustard in the driveway.

March 19
2:48 a.m.  8900 blk. Cedar Ridge, Lantana – Assist Agency – Double Oak Officer assisted the Sheriff’s Department on an alarm call.  No crime was detected and the residence was secured.

March 20
9:43 p.m.  200 blk. Rancho Vista – Minor Disturbance – Double Oak Officer responded to a disturbance call in which no offense had occurred.  Disturbance was quelled by the separation of both parties for the evening.

March 21
1:59 a.m.  200 blk. Cook St., Argyle – Assist Agency – Double Oak Officer assisted Argyle Police with a medical emergency.  Officer departed once the patient was transported to the hospital.

12:38 p.m.  200 blk. Whistling Duck – Open Door – A concerned citizen requested that police search their residence after they arrived home and found a door open to the exterior of the residence.
