Police seek smash and grab suspect

The Flower Mound Police Department is looking for a woman who burglarized a motor vehicle between noon and 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 8, in the 2500 block of Morriss Road.

The suspect is described as a white female between 20 and 30 years of age. 

Police said that the woman smashed the driver’s window of the victim’s 2007 Mercury sedan and took a wallet. 

The suspect then attempted to use the victim’s credit card at an area Tom Thumb and Grapevine Mills Mall.  She was last seen driving a black Dodge Magnum with pink seat cushions. 
 
The Flower Mound Police Department is requesting that anyone with information about this crime contact officers at 972.539.0525 or on the Anonymous Crime Tip Line at 972.874.3307.

The Department is urging residents to remove items of value from their vehicles to prevent this type of crime.
