For the third consecutive year, the Marcus High School Marching Band took first place in the 5A state competition Tuesday night in San Antonio.
The results were announced before a tired Alamodome crowd shortly after 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Two other North Texas Schools – L.D. Bell and Duncanville – came in second and third place respectively.
