Over 200 women participated in free mammogram screenings at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Flower Mound on Oct. 15.
The event, in honor of breast cancer awareness month, also featured a silent auction that raised over $2,000 for the North Texas Affiliate of Susan G. Komen, For the Cure.
Special guests who attended the event included the Flower Mound Mayor Melissa Northern; Flower Mound Town Council Member Al Filidoro; Highland Village City Council Member Charlotte Wilcox; and DJ Smokey Rivers from 99.5 the Wolf, who donated a guitar autographed by Cross Canadian Ragweed and Kevin Fowler to the silent auction.
