Residents pitch in to clean up

Over 100 vehicles snaked by Copper Canyon Town Hall on Saturday morning, with occupants dropping off old tires, televisions, batteries, sheets of plywood, appliances, scrap metal, and countless buckets of old paint.

The town’s first annual Clean Up Day was a huge success, according to Mayor Sue Tejml.

“Our sincere thanks to long time town resident Marshall Warren and Town Administrator Donna Welsh for organizing this long needed event,” said Tejml.

Tejml estimated that more than 25 percent of the town’s residents took advantage of this chance to dispose of unneeded items.
