County health officials announced flu vaccination clinics at the health department’s new Denton office on the following dates and times:
-October 1st, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
-October 8th, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
-October 15th, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The Denton County Health Department’s Denton office is located at 535 S. Loop 288.
This year’s flu shot includes both components of the yearly flu shot and an H1N1 component providing a full spectrum of protection against influenza, according to health department spokesperson, Betsy Haggard.
The cost of the flu shot is $20 and only cash will be accepted. Medicare, Medicaid, and CHIP will also be accepted as payment with proof of enrollment.
