Mike McDaniel of Highland Village will be taking the reins as President of the Denton County Child Protective Services Board of Directors for the 2010-2011 year.
Outgoing President Gretchen Jaworski joined the board in 2007 and served as President for two years, from 2008-2010.
During her tenure as President, the board’s non-profit organization, Abused Children Protection Fund, Inc., accomplished its first two major fundraisers at Oakmont Country Club in Corinth.
Jaworski was also instrumental in helping ACPF receive a substantial grant from the Denton Benefit League to furnish eight family visitation rooms in the Denton CPS offices.
Jaworski will be leaving the board at the end of this board year. She is expecting her second child in late October.
