Classes began today in the Argyle, Denton and Lewisville school districts.
In Lantana, Blanton Elementary grew from 542 students to 602 this year, E.P. Rayzor went from 679 to 728, and Harpool Middle School increased from 827 to 862.
“We will continue to grow through Labor Day. We will not receive an accurate picture of our enrollment figures until the 10th day of school,” said Denton ISD Superintendent Dr. Ray Braswell.
