Thousands of residents joined the Town of Flower Mound on Saturday, December 10, 2016 to attend the 27th annual Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony.
With the theme “Candy Land Christmas,” 50 lighted floats, and groups paraded down Spinks Road to Gerault Park.
While all parade entrants showed amazing holiday spirit and creativity in their décor and presentation, below are the 2016 Christmas Parade winners:
- Youth Group Float: Montessori Episcopal School
- Business Float: Complete Solutions
- Non-Profit Float: Habitat for Humanity of Denton County
- Marching Group: Girl Scouts Service Unit 407 and 411
- Automobile Group: Lone Star Jeep Club
- Overall Winner: Spirit of Flower Mound Special Olympics
