Two southbound lanes of FM 2499 are now open, as well as the Gerault Flyover.

Heads up to commuters heading north on FM 2499, although still reduced to one lane until the flyover, motorists can now continue north on FM 2499, rather than be redirected to northbound Gerault. After the flyover FM 2499 opens up and all three lanes are accessible.

Due to flash flooding, all southbound lanes of FM 2499 are temporarily closed at Lakeside. Northbound FM 2499 is reduced to one lane using Gerault only. Emergency crews are on scene. Expect delays, and seek alternate routes if possible.
