The Gaylord Texan Resort’s 16th annual Lone Star Christmas event opened over the weekend and will be open every day through Jan. 5.
The 125-acre winter wonderland, referred to as Texas’ grandest holiday event, has lots of lavish decorations and family-friendly activities, including two million pounds of hand-carved ice for ICE! featuring “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” ICE! is a walk-through exhibit that features ice slides, a life-size Nativity scene, an ice bar and more.
Other activities include snow tubing, a Snoopy Christmas Scavenger Hunt, Mrs. Claus’ Christmas Traditions, Breakfast with Charlie Brown & Friends, a gingerbread decorating corner, ice skating, photos with Santa, holiday escape rooms, a Christmas carousel and more.
