
A Flower Mound man died Sunday evening after his car crashed into a tree in a Flower Mound neighborhood, according to police.
The victim was identified as 30-year-old Blake Barkley of Bridlewood.
The accident occurred around 6:30 p.m. in the 4300 block of Glenwick Boulevard, according to a Flower Mound Police Department spokesman.
Witnesses said the vehicle was speeding and seemed to lose control before crashing into the tree.
No other people or vehicles were involved in the crash.
A GoFundMe page was set up in memory of Barkley.
