The Flower Mound Police Department is offering free digital child ID kits on Tuesday at the Flower Mound Community Activity Center, 1200 Gerault Road.

Parents can bring their kids to the CAC from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to have a digital child ID kit made for their children, according to a news release from the town of Flower Mound. The ID kit includes pertinent information such as the child’s name, address, birthdate, any medical conditions, a current photo and fingerprints. If ever needed, the kits will give authorities vital information to assist their efforts to locate a missing child.

If you can’t make it to Tuesday’s event, don’t worry, FMPD will host more ID kit events in the future.
