The town of Flower Mound is hosting a Back to School Showcase event Saturday to introduce local families to local businesses and organizations to keep kids busy this school year.
“When it’s time for kids to head back into the classroom, it’s also a time for parents to find some cool new extracurricular activities for their young ones to participate in,” a town news release said.
Families can meet with — and kids can even get registered — local businesses and organizations to learn about sports, theatre, and academic programs in the community from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Flower Mound Public Library, 3030 Broadmoor Lane.
