A 12-year-old runaway from Flower Mound has been found in Carrollton, according to a Flower Mound Police Department spokesman.
The town sent out a news release Thursday seeking help finding Amy Lee Hernandez, who had left her home through her bedroom window on Tuesday after arguing with her parents.
Police believed she may have been trying to go to Carrollton, where she has friends, and police found her there on Friday morning, according to a news release.
The news release said Amy is being returned to her family Friday morning.
