The Shops at Lakeside will be buzzing this weekend with the opening of three new stores: Briesly’s Boutique, Hello Daffodil, and Bloom-A-Round.
Brie Washington, proprietor of Briesly’s Boutique, has scheduled her grand opening event for 3-6 p.m. on Saturday.
Her upscale, trending clothing store brings a loyal family from the store’s previous home in Colleyville, where the store was located for the past four and a half years.
“We still don’t have our sign,” laughed Washington, “but otherwise we’re ready and excited about meeting residents of Lakeside and Flower Mound, and, of course, our big following from Colleyville.”
A DJ will bring the vibes to what promises to be a fun occasion.
Next door, both Bloom-A-Round and Hello Daffodil will be celebrating their first week in operation.
“We have had lots of support from the Lakeside community,” said Sean Choi of the store’s soft opening, “even though we did not do any marketing.”
Proprietor Joyce Choi said many people had stopped by despite the rainy weather last week.
Bloom-A-Round (open 10-7 Monday-Thursday, 10-8 on Friday and Saturday) helps customers creatively incorporate fresh flowers and plants into their home decor.
The Choi’s recently moved from Lewisville to Lakeside DFW.
“Everyone has been awesome,” said Jennifer Purifoy, proprietor of Hello Daffodil and an Argyle resident. “We love the location, community, and people.”
The shop offers Purifoy’s take on high-end and luxury women’s clothing, jewelry, handbags, shoes, and accessories.
Hello Daffodil is open 10-7 Monday-Thursday, 10-8 on Friday and Saturday, and 12-5 on Sunday.
In addition to the excitement created by the opening of the three shops, Engel & Volkers is holding an “Adopt a Pet Event” Saturday, 11-2.
You also will be able to purchase raffle tickets (benefiting the Special Olympics) to win prizes.
