This weekend, construction crews on the DFW Connector project will move traffic onto a newly completed southbound FM 2499 bridge over Denton Creek.
The traffic pattern change will allow crews to complete construction on the new, lowered northbound FM 2499 mainlanes, which are scheduled to open in March.
Here is a list of upcoming lane closures:
From 8 p.m. on Friday to 6 a.m. on Saturday, there will be a full road closure on the southbound FM 2499 frontage road at Grapevine Mills Blvd. Click here to see the detour to Grapevine Mills Blvd.
From 8 p.m. on Friday to 6 a.m. on Sunday, there will be a full highway closure of southbound FM 2499 at Denton Creek. Traffic will be detoured to the southbound FM 2499 frontage road. On Friday evening only, drivers will follow the Grapevine Mills Blvd detour.
