Kick off school shopping in style this weekend

Kick off your back-to-school shopping with the Shops at Highland Village this weekend and unlock your style.

If you’re on the prowl for clothes for preschool, elementary and middle school children there are some great finds to be had at Gymboree, Claire’s, Justice and Stride Rite.

For the older ages, including college kids, of course, you might want to hunt at Brightside Boutique, Buckle, Charming Charlie, Runway Seven, Jack’s Outfitters, Francesca’s, Luke’s Locker and Zumiez.

There are some helpful sales and promotions going on too, especially during the tax-free weekend.

“Tax free weekend is always fun and exciting for shoppers and retailers. At Highland Village, we have national chains and boutique stores – there’s something for everyone’s style and budget,” said Kelly Smith, marketing director for the shops. “We are making enhancements to our courtyards, but our AMC Theater, retail stores and restaurants are open, and there is plenty of parking for guests.”

The shops also offer ways to unlock your dining style at places like Blue Goose Cantina, Buffalo Wild Wings, Corner Bakery Cafe, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria, Mt. Fuji Steakhouse and Hibachi, Patrizio Pizza Pasta & Vino, Potbelly Sandwich Works, Rockfish Seafood Grill, Snuffer’s Restaurant and Bar and Sushi Fuji.
