Weekend Planner: June 20-21

Just a quick list of some weekend events coming up over the next two days:

Saturday, June 20

The Best Little Brewfest in Texas is happening at 1 p.m. in Old Town Lewisville. This event showcases beers, wines and distilled spirits from around Texas and features a competition for the best in the state. Proceeds benefit Cloud 9 Charities.

In Flower Mound, you can paint a portrait of your pet at Bottle & Bottega at Lakeside DFW. The event is from 1-4 p.m. and includes a glass of wine.

There’s a father-son basketball tournament from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Flower Mound CAC gym.

Sunday, June 21

The Cotton Patch Cafe in Flower Mound (and at all other locations) will celebrate Father’s Day by giving a roll of duct tape to each dad who comes through the doors. They are also hosting a Facebook contest with some pretty nice awards.

If your dad is into fly fishing, or would like to be, the Modern Art Museum in Fort Worth is hosting a Father’s Day Fly Fishing Demonstration from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. You dad can even try his hand at casting.
