Good Thursday Morning! Here are five things you should know today:
- Looking for something fun to do and don’t mind the drive to downtown Denton? Tonight from 6:30 – 8 ‘Twilight Tunes’ features The Raised Right Men — classic country music. It’s happening at the east lawn of the Denton County Courthouse on the square.
- Weather wise, it’s probably going to be a great day! This evening, NOAA is predicting a slight chance of t-storms though. Might want your umbrella if you’re headed out on the town.
- In Roanoke, the Oak Street Concert Series is presenting Shades of Gray from 7-8 p.m. at Austin Street Plaza. It’s free!
- Basketball? Did you say volleyball? Flower Mound is taking proposals for organizations looking to be the town’s provider of these sports for youth through June 22.
- Also, it’s National Corn on the Cob Day. Some parts of the country call it “pole corn,” “butter-pop,” or “long maize.” Did you know that? We didn’t.
