The Argyle Eagles will return to the UIL State Tournament for the second year in a row after two come-from-behind wins this past weekend against Texarkana Pleasant Grove in the Class 4A Region II finals.
Argyle (28-7) will face the Wylie Bulldogs (28-5) in the state semifinals on Wednesday, June 10, at 1 p.m. at UT’s Disch-Falk Field in Austin. Click here for ticket information.
Last year, the Eagles lost to College Station in the 3A State Championship and finished the season as 3A state runner-ups with a 32-10-1 record.
