In the 16 years since it was first started, Fiesta Flower Mound has become a major event in Southern Denton County, attracting area officials, business leaders, dignitaries and residents to network and celebrate during an evening of entertainment in support of the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce.
The sold-out event, slated for Oct. 25 at the Embassy Suites Outdoor World in Grapevine, will feature everything from dinner and dancing to casino games and both silent and live auctions.
Fiesta Flower Mound Fire and Ice 2014, the largest fundraiser for the chamber, also will include party pics, a coffee bar, a s’mores bar, an ice bar and lounges for the ladies and gentlemen. There’s even a late night snack from In-N-Out Burger for the 650-plus attendees.
Texas Sen. Jane Nelson is the evening’s emcee and a title sponsor for the event. Presenting and top sponsor this year is Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Flower Mound.
Fiesta Flower Mound has grown in the past 16 years from less than 100 attendees to more than 600, said Lori Walker, president of the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce
“It’s a great opportunity to celebrate the chamber, celebrate the community and celebrate our successes,” Walker said.
