Rain, rain come our way!

The odds of a much-needed soaking in Denton County are looking good.

According to forecasters from the National Weather Service office in Fort Worth, a plume of tropical moisture  associated with former Hurricane Ingrid and current Tropical Storm Manuel will spread into our area Thursday through Friday.

At the same time, a strong upper level trough will move across the plains sending a cold front southeast into North Texas on Friday morning.

The combination of events will result in widespread rain across Denton County.

The rain will end from north to south late Friday night into Saturday morning and temps this weekend should be pleasant with highs in the mid 80’s and lows around 60 degrees.
