Eastbound traffic is being re-routed to Morriss Rd. and westbound traffic is being diverted onto Kirkpatrick. Motorists can use FM 3040 or Valley Ridge/Dixon as alternate routes.
Atmos Energy is on the scene making repairs and the road is expected to open around 8 p.m.
