A familiar face will soon be leading the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce.
The chamber announced Monday that Lori Walker was named President of the organization.
Walker, a Flower Mound resident, has been on the chamber’s board of directors for eight years including serving as Chairman in 2008 and Chairman Emeritus since 2009.
She also served as Chairman of the chamber’s Fiesta Flower Mound event for six years and was named Citizen of the Year in 2006.
Walker is coming to the chamber from Denton County Pct. 4 Commissioner Andy Eads’ office where she was Chief Administrator.
Her first day on the job at the chamber will be on August 12.
