With more than 15 years of experience in the community association industry, Bruce Crawford has been perfecting the art of community management, including overseeing the planned community of Lantana since its inception.
On January 1, 2013, Crawford launched his own homeowner’s association management company called Insight Association Management.
“Insight Association Management has been something that I have thought about for many of those years,” Crawford said. “Forging a strong relationship with Republic Property Group, the developer of Lantana over the last 10 years, was the catalyst that set Insight in motion.”
Insight Association Management provides its HOAs with a variety of services designed to fit the needs of their communities, including accurate and timely financials, resident retention, regular scheduled maintenance, monthly reports on finances, community events, maintenance, visitor and gatehouse management, web and technology innovations, and board member and committee training.
Despite his new venture, Crawford will continue to personally manage Lantana, along with his current on-site staff of Mark Norton and Ashley Edwards.
Crawford, who obtained his Professional Community Association Manager designation through the Community Associations Institute and holds a bachelor’s degree in business management, said he loves his job.
“Being a property manager can be a thankless job, but I really like the interaction, meeting with the people, and helping to solve problems. If there’s an issue, we can usually find an amicable resolution.”
Crawford said he believes a couple of things make Insight Association Management different from other community association groups.
“I like to think that our customer service sets us apart from other companies,” Crawford said. “The focus of our staff is to ensure quality, integrity and reliability in all that we do. This helps forge strong relationships with our clients as well as the residents in the communities we manage.”
Insight Association Management specializes in single family homeowner associations and master planned communities, and Crawford said there are a couple of things he would like for prospective customers to know when considering the company’s services.
“While we may be a new company, we are not new to the industry,” Crawford said. “We possess all the skills and knowledge necessary to provide quality management for your community. When establishing the company and the operations, one of our focuses was to make sure that we were prepared not only for today’s community needs, but for future needs as well.
“We researched all the top systems and software providers in the industry to ensure that the services we can provide would often exceed that of our competitors.”
