BridgeWay Church in Copper Canyon will open its new worship center to the public on Sunday, May 5.
The 9,000 square foot addition is the first phase of two new improvements planned for the church.
The second phase, consisting of 6,000 square feet of classroom space, is scheduled for completion on July 1.
The non-denominational church was started seven years ago by Dr. Art McNeese of Flower Mound, who serves as senior minister of BridgeWay.
“The church’s vision is to be externally focused, with an emphasis on connecting people to God, locally, domestically, and internationally,” said McNeese.
BridgeWay members are active in serving the community through partnerships with Christian Community Action and the Salvation Army. The church also supports missionaries in China and Turkey.
BridgeWay Church is located at 8201 Justin Road in Copper Canyon. Worship services are at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. each Sunday. For more information, call 972-317-9500 or visit www.bwchurch.org.
