In an effort to hear from all residents who would like to speak about the ATMOS Energy easement in Flower Mound, there will be a public participation portion of the Town Council work session scheduled for 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 18.
Each speaker will have three minutes and will be called in order of submission.
During the work session, Town Staff will present its tree survey results and ATMOS Energy representatives will present a proposal and outline the next steps in the process.
In addition, the Town of Flower Mound has created an informative webpage with information regarding the ATMOS Energy easement to keep the community informed at www.flower-mound.com/atmoseasement
Over the past several months, the Town and ATMOS Energy representatives have been working together to collect and analyze tree survey data from the potentially affected areas of the pipeline easement.
The ATMOS Energy easement webpage includes all of the easements provided by ATMOS, the subdivision plats where the easement is located, a timeline, and general information. An interactive map of the tree survey results with various clearing widths (30-foot, 40-foot, and 50-foot) will also be available soon.
