Liberty basketball season ends with state semifinals loss

The season came to an end Friday night for the Liberty Christian boys basketball team, as the Warriors lost by one point to Fort Worth Nolan in the state semifinals at Mansfield Timberview High School.

There were four lead changes in the final two minutes of play, and the Warriors actually led Nolan 36-35 at the end of three quarters.

Liberty’s Jacob Santos and Luke Kornet scored 12 points each in the game against the Vikings.

The Warriors finished up the season with a 32-7 record.
