Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Flower Mound has been nationally recognized as a one of the top 100 best places to work by Modern Healthcare magazine.
“This is another example of the excellence that is happening at this hospital. Our employees and physicians came together to accomplish something special that is not found in many hospitals nationwide,” said Spencer Turner, president of the hospital.
“We are very proud of the fact that we have created an elite place to work. Creating such a phenomenal working environment also creates one the best environments for our patients. Ultimately, our people made this happen and its good for them and obviously for patients.”
The recognition program, now in its fifth year, honors workplaces in healthcare that enable employees to perform at their optimum level to provide patients and customers with the best possible care, products and services. The program is co-sponsored by the Studer Group.
“We are unsure of our rank at this time but we anticipate a strong showing in the rankings, however being in the top 100 nationally is a large milestone for our team and the community,” Turner explained.
Modern Healthcare will reveal the ranked order of the 100 Best Places to Work in Healthcare for 2012 at a banquet in Nashville, TN on October 9th.
Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Flower Mound is a 103 bed, acute care hospital that opened in April 2010 serving Flower Mound, Lewisville, Highland Village, Lantana and the surrounding communities in southern Denton County.
