The CoServ Charitable Foundation recently awarded a $22,600 grant to Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas to help more girls participate in scouting in Denton and Collin County.
CoServ’s grant, presented to Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas Board member Terry Clower and local troops, will provide a technology upgrade at the Denton and Collin County Service centers, support programming that is offered to 13,400 girls and 8,600 adult members in Denton and Collin County, and a portion of the grant will go towards helping at-risk-girls attend Summer Camp by providing full or partial assistance.
