Volunteers from the community will construct Flower Mound’s first community built playground this September.
Fort Wildflower is designed for children of all abilities and will be located in The Heritage Park of Flower Mound, to be located at the northwest corner of Garden Ridge Boulevard and Spinks Road in the southeast part of town.
Residents have the opportunity to become a permanent part of the Fort Wildflower Playground by purchasing a personalized item for display at the playground.
Personalized bricks, which will be located toward the playground entryway, are $100 and pickets are $50 and will enclose the play area.
