Lane closures are on tap for the intersection of FM 2499 and Gerault Road this Thursday through Saturday, Jan. 12 to Jan 14, to pour concrete paving for the bridge associated with the Morriss/Gerault Corridor Improvement Project.
Beginning at 9 a.m. Thursday, traffic on FM 2499 will be limited to one lane in each direction near the Gerault Road intersection.
The traffic signal at the intersection of FM 2499 and Gerault Road will be flashing red in all directions until construction is complete, officials said.
Beginning at 7 a.m. on Saturday, traffic on FM 2499 will again be limited to one lane in each direction near the Gerault Road intersection, and Gerault Road will be closed between Lakeside Parkway and FM 2499.
Motorists are advised to anticipate traffic delays during this time, and utilize Lakeside Parkway as an alternate east-west route.
