11-15-2011 7:42 p.m. – Vehicle Complaint – 200 blk. Simmons Rd. – A resident reported construction equipment blocking their driveway.
11-17-2011 7:47 a.m. – Vehicle Complaint – 100 blk. Simmons Rd. – A resident reported a “Bobcat” blocking access to Timberview.
11-17-2011 3:30 p.m. – Identity Theft – 300 blk. Waketon Rd. – A resident reported the theft of their credit card.
11-19-2011 10:46 p.m. – Assist Agency (Suspicious Person) – 1200 blk. Redbud, Bartonville – Double Oak assisted with investigation of a suspicious person call in Bartonville. Suspect was not located.
11-20-2011 11:27 a.m. – Animal Bite – 600 blk. McMakin Rd. – A complainant reported having been bitten by a stray dog. Offense was later determined to have occurred in Bartonville.
11-20-2011 4:27 p.m. – Disturbance – Chinn Chapel Rd. and Waketon Rd. – A boyfriend and girlfriend were engaged in an ongoing verbal argument. No report of a physical assault by either party.
11-22-2011 11:10 p.m. – Assist Agency (Alarm) – 900 blk. Badminton, Bartonville – A Double Oak Officer responded to a residential alarm call in Bartonville.
11-22-2011 11: 53 p.m. – Assist Agency (Suspicious Circumstances) – 400 blk. Hearth, Argyle – Unknown person(s) ringing the doorbell at a residence.
11-23-2011 4:28 a.m. – Assist Agency (Sheriff’s Department) – 1200 blk. FM 2181, Corinth, TX – At the request of road deputies Double Oak PD responded to a suspicious vehicle call in which a motorist was driving on a flat tire (Deputies were already involved in a traffic accident investigation). Due to gouges in the road, created by the violator vehicle, the juvenile driver was followed to and located in Corinth, TX by Double Oak PD. Corinth officers responded and took law enforcement action.
11-24-2011 11:25 p.m. – Assist Agency (Sheriff’s Department) – 3600 blk. Justin Rd., Flower Mound, TX – A sheriff’s deputy was flagged down regarding the McDonald’s being unsecure. Officers made entry but were unable to detect any criminal activity. Officers secured the building.
11-25-2011 1: 58 p.m. – Burn Day Violation – 500 blk. Kings Rd. – A patrol officer observed a resident burning refuse. Officer made contact with the homeowner and explained that it was not a burn day and that all burns needed to be logged with the County. The homeowner agreed to extinguish the flames.
11-25-2011 2:48 p.m. – Criminal Mischief – 200 blk. Cedar crest Ln. – An unknown person knocked down the Complainant’s mailbox.
11-25-2011 12:26 a.m. – Assist Agency (Vehicle Search) – 300 blk. Country Club Ln., Argyle – Double Oak Officer assisted Argyle PD by watching three males while a vehicle search was conducted and citations were issued.
11-26-2011 10:23 a.m. – Assist Agency (Alarm) – 500 blk. Porter Rd., Bartonville – Double Oak responded to an alarm call due to unavailability of Bartonville unit. Upon arrival contact was made with an adult male resident and his attorney.
11-28-2011 9:44 p.m. – Alarm – 100 blk. Campbell Ct. – Occupants of the residence accidentally triggered their alarm.
12-01-2011 11:10 p.m. – Drug Paraphernalia – 400 blk. Waketon Rd. – During a traffic stop the officer smelled marijuana issuing from the driver’s vehicle. Upon further investigation a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia was issued.
12-03-2011 7:07 p.m. – Motorist Assist – 400 blk. Waketon Rd. – While on patrol officer found a vehicle in the ditch. Driver was determined to be uninjured and had their father on scene to assist with vehicle removal.
12-03-2011 10:40 p.m. – 9-1-1 Hangup – 400 blk. Canyon Oaks Dr. – Officer dispatched on 911 hang up. Upon further investigation it was determined that the phone was malfunctioning.
