Connor Martin of the Texas Rattlers won the 11U Home Run Derby at the AAYBA World Series in Flower Mound on June 25.
Martin hit a total of four home runs in two rounds to win against 71 other participants.
Martin also assisted his team to victory by hitting a two run home run and a grand slam during tournament play.
The 11U Texas Rattlers placed 2nd in the Platinum Division of the AAYBA World Series, going 8-1 during the week and losing in the championship by one run.
