Argyle tennis players advance to state

Argyle Varsity Tennis competed in the 3A Region 2 Tournament April 20th and 21st and four players advanced to the State Finals in Austin.

Juniors Lacy Blake and Emma Welsh finished first in Girls Doubles.

Juniors Maddie Schorlemmer and Zack Santagate both took home first place in Girls and Boys Singles. 

All four players will head to Austin to compete in the state tournament on May 9th and 10th.

This will be the third year in a row that Schorlemmer and Blake qualified for state. Welsh will be competing in her second state tournament and this is the first trip to state for Santagate.
