The Marcus boys soccer team defeated Irving in the bi-district round on Friday night by a score of 3-1 in a game where the Marauders got some help from their opponent.
Hank Steinhafel scored two goals in the game for Marcus, while Irving kicked an own goal to help lift the Marauders.
Marcus will play the winner of the South Grand Prairie/Waco Midway game in the area round at a time and date to be determined.
