Copper Canyon residents Art and Ross Morales “Romo’s Rib Team” took first place in the rib category at the Texas State Fair BBQ Competition on Oct. 9.
Approximately 30 teams competed for the coveted Big Tex Trophies.
Art Morales is a dealer for Backwoods Smoker and Ross Morales is a junior at Marcus High School.
